Will Diego Be Singing at the Emirates?

Yes, this is according to the Sun, but let's hope they are right. Come next season, Maradona's favourite, Rodrigo Palacio, will be whipping his lethal rat tail into the eyes of Scum defenders while poking Cesc's through balls into their net. Reports claim he'll take Thierry's no.14. The 15million pounds fee is steep, but to be expected when both Huracan and Banfield have their fingers in Boca Juniors's pie. The move does smack of desperation what with Liverpool pulling a Chelsea and United on the verge of snatching up a striker almost as ugly as Rooney, but Palacio is mature and ready to impose himself on the European stage. Now, all we need to do is club this fellow over the head, stuff him into an amphora and sneak out of Piraeus.

Singing? At 'The Emirates'? Uh? Since when?
How many foxes in boxes does Wenger need this season? Might as well just re-sign Frannie Jeffers and be done with it. At least no-one will be expecting him to be any good.

Palacio is actually quite a solid striker... even with the rat-tail, he's not nearly as stupid looking Franny J. £15 million sounds a bit steep, however, for somebody who's only played in the Argentinian league...

'Solid'? Is that good enough for Arsenal or for £15m? What with that Braziliation chap signing the Arse frontline is looking a little green. Both are a little too old to be viewed as ones for the future and too expensive to be squad players. Huge gamble in my opinion and the pressure to succeed Henry could break them.

Only if he's not in jail or injured again.
News just in: Newcastle Utd have been raided by the police! Exciting!

And Pompey and Rangers. Harry, Sam, and someone Scottish (who is the Rangers manager - Walter Smith again?) share a cell. Still manage to buy 20 thirty-something washed up French midfielders and 12 ex spurs players (how do they do it?).
